Here, the pendants by Circa Lighting hang above the granite-topped kitchen island. The cabinetry is custom-made, the range is by De Dietrich, and the flooring is quartzite and granite.

BLACK DINING Region

From the Rio de Janiero kitchen with a house made by Joao Mansur, black lacquered cabinetry plus a high-gloss painted doorway keep a sense of sophistication. A pair of chairs and a Kartell table add comfort to the room.

The kitchen in this Lake Tahoe house includes cabinetry by Bulthaup, an oven by Miele and a sink by Blanco with Dornbracht fittings. The countertop is quartzite and also the custom-made stools are covered in Edelman leather.
